Logitech Announces Dimitri Panayotopoulos as New Board Nominee
NEWARK, Calif. — Oct. 28, 2014 and LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Oct. 29, 2014 — Logitech International (SIX: LOGN) (Nasdaq: LOGI) today announced that its board of directors will ask shareholders at its next annual general meeting (AGM) to approve the election to the board of directors of Dimitri Panayotopoulos, senior advisor with the Boston Consulting Group and former vice chairman of the Procter & Gamble Company.
“We are enthusiastic about presenting Dimitri to our shareholders as a board nominee,” said Guerrino De Luca, chairman of the Logitech board of directors. “His general management background, experience in Europe, Africa and Asia, and brand management and consumer expertise make Dimitri a strong addition to the Logitech board.”
At the AGM, the board will also ask shareholders to re-elect the current board members for a period of one year. More information about these nominees can be found in Logitech’s preliminary proxy statement, which has been filed with the SEC and has been posted on the Company’s website at http://ir.logitech.com. Logitech will announce the date of the AGM after the Company files its FY 2014 10-K with the SEC. Logitech is working to file its 10-K as soon as possible.
